Child safety standards

Version 1.0 · Effective 30 July 2026

Meetle is an adults-only service. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how to report it to us, and who to contact.

Our standard

Meetle is for adults aged 18 and over. Nobody under 18 is permitted to create an account or use the service, in any mode.

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and for any conduct that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor. There is no warning, no strike, and no appeal on the substance: accounts are removed immediately and permanently, and the conduct is referred to the authorities.

Meetle Technologies complies with the laws that apply to us in India, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 (POCSO), section 67B of the Information Technology Act 2000, and the Intermediary Guidelines, as well as applicable law in any other jurisdiction where Meetle is available.

What is prohibited

The following are prohibited on Meetle without exception, whether in a profile, a photo, a plan, a chat message, a video or voice call, or anywhere else:

This is stated in the same terms in our community guidelines, which every member agrees to.

How we keep minors off Meetle

Every account is created through Google sign-in, and every member must supply a date of birth at signup and separately attest that they are 18 or over. The service rejects any date of birth under 18, and the date cannot be changed afterwards.

We state this plainly: age is currently self-declared. The check stops a minor from proceeding through signup honestly, but it is not identity verification. We are working towards verified age assurance through a licensed provider, and until it is in place we rely on the measures below.

If we learn by any route — a report, a moderation review, or our own observation — that an account belongs to someone under 18, we terminate it and delete its data.

Meetle carries no public content. Profiles and plans are visible only to signed-in, age-attested members, and messaging is possible only after a join request has been accepted by both sides. There is no open feed for a minor to be exposed to and no way to message someone who has not accepted contact.

How to report a child safety concern

In the app, every profile, chat, and plan carries a report option within two taps. Choose the reason that fits and add anything that helps — you can attach evidence.

You can also write to us directly at grievance@meetle.app, whether or not you have a Meetle account. Reports about child safety are treated as the highest priority we have.

We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act on child safety reports immediately on receipt, ahead of everything else in the queue.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first. In India, call 112, or the child helpline on 1098. Reports can also be filed with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in.

What we do when we receive a report

A person reviews every child safety report — these are never closed automatically.

Deleting a Meetle account does not erase a safety report made about it. That is deliberate — it stops someone escaping a record by signing up again.

Point of contact

Our designated contact for child safety, able to speak to our CSAM prevention practices and compliance, is our grievance officer:

Thamaraikannan R

Email: grievance@meetle.app

Meetle Technologies, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India

This is the address to use for enquiries from Google, from law enforcement, and from any child protection authority, as well as from members of the public.

Keeping these standards current

We review this page whenever our safety tooling changes and at least once a year, and we update it in the same release as any change to what the app actually does. It is published here so that it is publicly available, permanent, and not editable by anyone outside Meetle Technologies.
